Have had problems with some of their labs and other stuff, besides that compared to the other place I was at this is a good place, in and out in 16 min at most, tons of great classes for recovery addiction; counselors bounce around a lot so be prepared to not spill out everything to someone that will only be seeing you for 4-5 months before they switch you. Don’t sine any documents without reading them thourouhly even if they look like they are trying to hurry you up; take your time.. don’t sine something that could bite you in the butt later... the only thing I’m concerned about is how long this place will be open, the clinics the doctor opened in the past closed making all patients switch locations... besides that it’s the best clinic in a 60 mile radius.

Unlike most of the negative comments, I have a positive review to post! And I’m telling the legitimate truth. I have been a patient at NWIH for Almost 2 years, and this place, as well as the staff, have played a big part in my recovery! Yes the doctor seems cold as first but you have to understand there are a lot of people out there just trying to get a script. I relapsed a many of times in the beginning and they did not send me away, they helped me. This is not the place for you if you just want subs, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT CHANGING YOUR LIFE!

Friendly staff and friendly, knowledgeable doctors. It was nice to be able to walk into the building and be treated with respect and not looked down upon for whatever reasoning brought you there in the first place. From the moment I walked in, each person that I interacted with until the time I walked out, I was made to feel comfortable.

I'm posting in privacy (for obvious reasons) but NWIH beats Tacoma treatment solutions hands down; Tacoma treatment solutions had nurses who would steal methadone, they had a nurse who gave someone too much medication on accident and almost killed someone and another nurse who would wait 20min in between dosing people, which would make 4hr wait times, this nurse did this for two weeks straight!! Lots of jobs lost because of this (including mine).. Tacoma treatment solutions also had someone working at the front desk who would bill people's insurance and charge them as well, pocketing their money (all of this happened in a 4 month period of time). I was at TTS for a little over 4 years and Tacoma treatment solutions was horrible, a nightmare. Dr Khan actually treats addiction like a disease, he is extremely well educated, treats his patients with an extreme amount of respect and makes your experiance at his clinic one of the best I've ever had; it is not embarrassing to go in and you will not be harassed by his employees; everyone at NWIH is friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. Just an amazing staff, no wait times, couldn't have asked to transfer to a better clinic... oh.. did I mention?? His counselor actually seems to want to help you with your situation and will even sacrifice her lunch breaks to be with clients one on one. NWIH is filled with wonderful people.. At Tacoma treatment solutions I got thrown around to 5 different counselors while I was there... in my opinion Tacoma treatment solutions should be shut down and let Dr Khan & NWIH expand its practice in the pierce county area; Tacoma treatment solutions is a joke compared to North West Integrated Health.
